San Marino Bay Condominiums is an upscale 71 unit condominium located within the waterfront community of Bayport Colony located in western Hillsborough County. Originally consisting of five phases built in the mid to later 1980s, the individual condominiums subsequently consolidated into San Marino Bay Condominiums Association, Inc. and the condominiums were then enjoined. Phase five included three buildings constructed in 2004. The community had its roofs replaced in 2005 and was repainted in 2016. All condominium units are in the Mediterranean style and each has a one or two car garage and private, first floor entrances.
San Marino Bay Condominiums co-exists with two other separate condominiums; San Marino Bay Condominium Association 7, Inc., a commercial condominium of 23 boat docks, and Phase 6, San Marino Bay Condominium Association 6, Inc., a residential condominium of three buildings which are comprised of twelve residential condominiums. Neither of these condominiums is currently included within San Marino Bay Condominiums, Inc.; however, a number of owners of residential units within San Marino Bay Condominiums also own a boat dock.
The San Marino Bay Condominiums operate in accordance with Chapter 718 of the Florida State Statutes.
Amenities
As members of Bayport Colony Property Owners Association, Inc. condominium owners of San Marino Bay Condominiums have access to four tennis courts and two playgrounds maintained by the Master Association. There are no amenities within the common or corporate owned grounds of San Marino Bay Condominiums.
